My Life, Social Networking Tool
Their problem: The Existence Church is a non-denominational Bible church in San Diego, Calif. They have a strong on-line presence and a young and growing congregation. To better connect with this congregation, they commissioned Friday Harbour Media to create for them an on-line social community which they wanted to name "My Life".
Our solution: After discussion and consultation with the principals and because of budget limitations, we determined that the ideal approach would not be to create this entire tool from scratch, but to minimize time and dollars by assembling it with the Joomla! CMS using pre-existing components from Joomla!'s large extension library. Although we developed and created a custom template and modified many of the components, we built this sophisticated and multi-layered social network tool in 30 days and on budget.
Philip was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable, very fast and a pleasure to work with. He was great with communication and was able to capture exactly what we were looking to do.
